The first Water Resources Conference was hosted by Thomas S. Blue, PE PLS, the Sustainable Sandhills Water Team Leader. Day 1 was designed for local elected officials, businessmen and women, community leaders and concerned citizens. WATER RESOURCES CONFERENCE
Day One: November 8, 2007
The first day o f the Sustainable Sandhills (SS) Water Resources Conference was held at the Southern Pines Civic Club and featured speakers from NC Department of Environment and Natural Resources (NC DENR), UNC-Chapel Hill, and Hutto, Texas. This session was specifically designed for local elected officials, community representatives, government staff, business leaders, conservation advocates, and others.
