Earth Day 2024 – Earth Day is Every Day
Community Cleanup Volunteers
One of our greatest needs for volunteers is at our monthly litter cleanups in Cumberland County and Moore County. In 2021, roughly 900 volunteers in Cumberland County picked up about 8 tons of trash, and the litter index in the City of Fayetteville decreased from 2.7 to 2.2.
Carbon Bank Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to help count and map our carbon bank and do a random survey to calculate the amount of carbon sequestered.
