Don’t just recycle. Recycle RIGHT!
Proper recycling practices are important to avoid contaminating your recycling bin.
Here are some tips for recycling right …

Not all recycling services are created equal. Learn about the materials that are accepted and not accepted by your service provider or hauler before your recycle.

Your recycling bin should be free of contaminants. Common contaminants include plastic bags and films, bubble wrap, Styrofoam containers, chip bags and candy wrappers, napkins, electronics and cords, organic waste and greasy containers such as pizza boxes.

If a material is not accepted in your curbside recycling bin, you may be able to recycle it through a municipal container site. Read on for information about container sites in the Sandhills.

Are you a resident of the City of Fayetteville and have curbside municipal recycling services?
