There are a few places in the Sandhills and neighboring regions that accept textiles for recycling.

OTHER TEXTILE RECYCLING OPTIONS
Local charities such as homeless shelters and churches may accept gently used clothing. Animal shelters often need items such as towels and sheets, too. Some good local options for donation include Seth’s Wish, Fayetteville Urban Ministry, Manna Community Store, Operation Blessing, The Salvation Army, Fayetteville Animal Protection Society and Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption.
Use textile recycling drop boxes such as GreenZone.
Sell gently used clothing to consignment shops or to online consignment shops such as ThredUp or Poshmark.
Host a clothing swap with your friends and neighbors.
